"Today when a human being, influenced by an abstract science of astronomy, looks at the starry heavens, these are filled with abstract material spheres. But these celestial spheres will again become for the human being the bodies of souls and spirits. We will experience the whole cosmos as warm and comforting just as we find the embrace of a friend warm and comforting, though of course we will experience the spirit of the cosmos as more majestic and sublime." ~ Rudolf Steiner
Thomas, it struck me today, reading that Sirius is a binary star, it could have been observed as two-faced (hence Janus) depending on which of them would face us.
Thanks, sources vary with article theme. This one I've had in mind writing the last couple New Years, just hadn't gotten to in time :) So the ideas and layout are from various books read over the years, working with astronomical software, with a bit of web search to get more precise historical data to flesh the article out a bit and make it informative.
Overall the main foundation for my articles is the various works of the scientists and researchers following Rudolf Steiner's ideas, expanding outward into what I see as later related fields of endeavor. Some articles I include the references, I'll try to do that more so people can follow up.
Vanese from Magical Egypt did an interview with me asking about influential books, I should do more of these: https://youtu.be/B-mOznmtijc
Enlightening, clearifying and somewhat comforting! Thank you! <3

Brilliant! Do you have any bibliographical sources that you base your writings upon?
